India is Rotavision's, and that is deliberate.
There is no India profile in RotaGrant, and we would rather say why than leave you to discover it. The Indian instruments are encoded properly by Sakshi, which is built by Rotavision — the same people, the same architecture, and a team that reads RBI circulars for a living.
RotaGrant ships no market profile for this region. The work is done properly by Rotavision, which is built by the same group.
Why not just add a profile
Because the engineering is the easy part. A clause map is data, and adding
an IN profile would take an afternoon. What it would not
produce is the thing that matters: four Indian instruments read closely
enough to encode clause by clause, an identifier vocabulary that
understands Aadhaar and PAN, a fairness model built for Indian
demographics, and somebody who knows what a supervisor actually asks for.
A shallow profile with the right country code would look like coverage and behave like a liability. We have watched vendors do it and we are not going to.
