What is open, and what is not.
The vocabulary is open on purpose. The engine is not. Both decisions are deliberate and the line between them is the same one that makes the specification worth reading.
- Open — Apache 2.0
- The Open Agent Governance Specification, and the SDKs. A competitor's engine can claim conformance to the specification, and that is the point of publishing it unbranded.
- Not open
- The enforcement engine, the evidence store and the console. These are the product.
