Australia's AI framework is principles-based and voluntary, so this profile selects no clause map. What it does bring is identifier detection where the statute names the identifier.
Where the obligation is specific
- Tax File Numbers
- The Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule restricts who may collect or hold one at all. Finding a TFN outside a payroll context is a finding in itself, and the detector checks the arithmetic rather than the shape.
- Medicare numbers are health information
- Sensitive information under the Privacy Act, which sets a higher bar for collection, use and retention than ordinary personal information.
- The AI Ethics Principles
- Voluntary and outcome-based. Nothing to enumerate as clauses, so nothing is scored — the same honest empty answer as Singapore's, for the same reason.
If a mandatory guardrails regime is legislated, a clause map is data and can be authored without a release. What this page will not do is imply a mapping ahead of one existing.
What resolving a profile actually changes
A market profile is not a locale setting. Changing it changes what the platform is permitted to do, what it looks for, what it scores you against and how long it keeps a record — and moving a workspace between profiles is itself a governed act with a name against it.
And a workload can be under more than one at once. The profile resolves per decision — narrowest wins — and is sealed into the record, so a pack states which laws this deployment believed applied at the moment the decision was made. How that works →
