Brand
Rotascale is the company. RotaGrant is the product.
The distinction matters in a sentence: Rotascale does not determine anyone's compliance, and RotaGrant runs in your environment. One is a legal entity, the other is software.
Naming
- Rotascale
- Lower case in the wordmark, capitalised in prose. The company. A product of Rota, Inc., San Francisco.
- RotaGrant
- One word, capital R and capital G. The platform. Never "Rotagrant" or "Rota Grant".
- Not "Rotascale's RotaGrant platform"
- Pick one. Either "RotaGrant" or "Rotascale's agent governance platform" — the doubled form reads like a press release.
Colour
One accent, and three semantic colours that are not decoration — they carry meaning in the product and should never be used for emphasis.

The accent lightens in dark mode rather than being reused, because
#b509ac on a dark ground is a smudge. The semantic three
lighten with it so allow and deny stay distinguishable at a glance.
Typography

- Headings and statements. A serif because this product's argument is precision about words.
- Libre Franklin
- Reading. Franklin Gothic's lineage is public documents rather than startup chrome.
- IBM Plex Mono
- Identifiers, states and gate names — the product's own voice, used wherever something appears as it appears in the record.
All three are self-hosted. A site claiming your data stays with you should not be fetching type from a third party.
